Happy Art-A-Whirl!
Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, the 2021 Art-A-Whirl will look a little different than in previous years. Similar to last year, Art-A-Whirl will mostly be held online with some galleries and artist studios open for in-person visits. NEMAA has generously provided a detailed map and listings of open galleries for AAW Weekend. You can find more information online.
Michael Birawer Gallery will be open on Sunday, May 16th from Noon - 3pm. Michael will be at the gallery, available to sign prints and eager to see you all! This is an ideal time to pick-up any online orders in person.
Following state guidelines, please remember to wear a face covering while in the gallery. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Just like each year, everything purchased during AAW Weekend will be hand signed by me. If you would prefer I did not sign your piece, please add a note at checkout. All orders can be placed online and we have added a Pick-Up option for your convenience.

"Waikiki Beach" has arrived officially to Seattle. "Alki Beach" Next?? Maybe just maybe. I made sure to provide on this post some close-up details (or more specifically, "Easter Eggs"). Sorry Elvis fans, "The King" did not make the cut. However, the Duke did. Duke Kahanamoku that is. Along with the Duke you can enjoy the likes of the late great Don Ho (Mr. "Tiny Bubbles"). Look for Spongebob and Patrick catching some rays at #theroyalhawaiian. And since I painted this piece to remember the Awesome trip to Hawaii my wife and son took last year, I naturally put the three of us in it as well!
Began work today on my latest painting, inspired by Waikiki Beach. Pictured here beside me is my pup, the perfect studio assistant!
